Sonam Kapoor recently gave some deep insight about many issues concerning politics and our country, in a recent column of hers. However, Sonam probably had a slip of thought when she said, "Listen to the national anthem one more time. Recall the line you heard as kids, ‘Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Issai…"

Now, it so happens that there is no such line in the National Anthem as we remember it. Twitter trolls therefore had a field day targeting Sonam's knowledge of the anthem.

However, Sonam replied patiently to many of them saying, "Thank you for your compliments. I will take your hate and receive it with love. I hope you find peace and your anger subsides. Thank you so much twitter for the amazing response to my article and also to the #trolls who proved my point by the way they responded."

A Twitter user also pointed out that the second para of the National Anthem does have some of these words.

Now, what do you think of that?

On the work front, Sonam is gearing up for her sister Rhea Kapoor's production venture, which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar. She will also be seen in Padman and the Sanjay Dutt biopic helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
