Kangana Ranaut is shooting for the last schedule of Simran. Here is a fun picture from the shoot.
We know that Kangana Ranaut's last film Rangoon, which also featured Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor, did not fare well at the box office. However, there is no stopping Ms Ranaut, is there? The power house actress is already caught up with her next movie, Simran, and by the looks of it, is totally rocking it.
Directed by Hansal Mehta, the movie which features Kangana Ranaut, is set to release this September. In the film, Kangana plays the role of a Gujarati NRI, Praful Patel - a housekeeper, who gets embroiled in a crime. Well, though the movie is based on a serious angle, here is a fun pic of Kangana from the sets of the movie.
In the picture, the pretty actress is seen fooling around with her Gujrati diction coach, Suraj Vyas. From the looks of the setting and their whacky costumes, it looks like they were shooting for some crazy party scene.
The film will apprently have six songs but they are all background tracks, which are in accordance to the plot. Does sound pretty interesting, doesn't it?
Apurva Asrani, who wrote the script for the movie, had once revealed, "Kangana is known for living her characters. Not only has she hired a language coach and has been watching Gujarati plays, but she's also trying to internalise her character. It's not just about getting the accent right. Besides, her character won't be stereotypical or something that mocks the Gujarati community. We stand for breaking stereotypes. It will be an honest portrayal."
