Tamannaah Bhatia just had an ‘Oops’ moment. Remember we had informed you that Tamannaah Bhatia has been finalized for the Tamil remake of Kangana Ranaut’s Queen (2014) but if reports are to be believed, the movie has been shelved. That’s right! So, looks like there will be only one Queen in the film fraternity and this is our beloved Miss. Ranaut.

After the announcement of the Tamil remake, Tamannaah Bhatia, in an interview, was quoted as saying that she’d like to take tips from the National Award-winning actress to prep up for the role. However, Tamannaah’s dream has been thrashed as the Tamil remake of Queen has been shelved.

During the promotions of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the actress was quoted as saying, “We were supposed to do that film, but it’s not happening anymore. The reason is unknown to me, but I know it’s shelved.” But this hasn’t deterred Bhatia as she has been getting a lot of offers post Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. In an interview to a leading daily, Tamannaah said, “I am getting better offers since directors feel that I am versatile and can be more than just a girl next door. I am also seriously trying not to be repetitive.”

Next, Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s production Pon Ondru Kanden, which is a remake of Telugu sleeper hit Pelli Choopulu starring Vikram Deverakonda and Ritu Varma. Also, Tamannaah will be seen in Chiyaan Vikram’s upcoming movie Sketch directed by Vijay Chander.
