Deepika Padukone steals the limelight at the Ambanis' bash for Mumbai Indians

The owner of Indian Premier League team Mumbai India - Mukesh Ambani and family threw a bash for their team members and friends from the film industry. Deepika waved to the shutterbugs before heading in to wish the players of the MI team.

Mumbai Indians pulled off a thrilling four-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to continue their dominance over their rivals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. 

It was therefore reason enough to celebrate for the players and the team owners with their family and friends. 

On the work front, Deepika has resumed shooting for her Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Padmavati, which also features Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. The team, which has experienced some trouble during a couple of shoot sessions, is now all set to resume its work on the movie.

Deepika was last seen in the Hollywood flick xXx: Return of Xander Cage opposite Vin Diesel. The movie fared well at the box office in India and all over.
