Sushant Singh Rajput and Malaika Arora Khan danced for the IPL 2017 show in Mumbai today
The 10th season of the Indian Premier League cricket tournament is taking the country by storm, and Bollywood is not to be left behind. After Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff rocked the IPL stage, Sushant Singh Rajput and Malaika Arora Khan shook their legs at the opening show today, much to the excitement of the audience.
Sushant shared a picture of his social networking handle saying, "Govinda aala re ,aala, Zara matki sambhal Brij bala." Sushant performed for the Rang Barse number along with Malaika and their chemistry on stage was impressive. Malaika shook a leg for a number from her brother-in-law's movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam - Dholi Taro while Sushant climbed a human pyramid in style. All in all, a pretty impressive performance by the Bollywood duo.
Sushant has a special connect with cricket after he played the role of the ace captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the biopic based on the cricketer's life and career. The movie went on to become one of the biggest hits of last year. He wrote on his Twitter account, "Back to a Cricket Stadium after a while. This time to celebrate it."
On the work front, Sushant will next be seen in the movie Raabta opposite Kriti Sanon. Raabta is directed by Dinesh Vijan and produced by Homi Adajania, Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan. The film is scheduled for release on 9 June.
