Vidya Balan, Rekha and Alia Bhatt catch a screening of Begum Jaan

Vidya Balan is all excited about the release of her much awaited film Begum Jaan. The power house actress is clicked here at the screening of her film. Also seen is her hubby Sidharth Roy Kapur, who was visibly very proud of his wife's wonderful performance in the movie. Recently, Vidya had commented that Sidharth believed she has a violent streak in her. She had said about her role in the movie, "To actually give vent to that kind of anger, aggression, wasn't easy. But it was fun, once you break the limits, it was a lot of fun. It's so freeing. Siddharth believes that I do have a violent streak."

A special guest at the event was the gorgeous Rekha, who was all praises for Vidya. Check out the two actresses bonding at the screening, don't they look adorable!

Also seen here is the lovely Alia Bhatt, striking a pose with daddy dearest, Mahesh Bhatt. The Badrinath Ki Dulhania actress was sporting a black top and denims and looked pretty as always. 

Begum Jaan is written and directed by National Film Award-winning director Srijit Mukherji and produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Vishesh Bhatt and Play Entertainment.  In the movie, Vidya Balan plays the lead role of a brothel's madam, set in the backdrop of late Indian Independence period of 1948. It is Hindi remake of the Bengali film Rajkahini. Begum Jaan is loosely based on Shyam Benegal's 1986 movie Mandi.
