Saif Ali Khan: I don’t even get to see Taimur as I leave before he wakes up
In an interview, Saif Ali Khan talks about movies, acting and fatherhood
Saif Ali Khan is in a happy space. After becoming father to Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, the actor admits that his personal and professional life is exactly how he wanted it to be. In an interview to a leading daily, Saif Ali Khan was quoted as saying, “I do realize that it has taken me a while to reach this stage and that it has been a kind of chequered past with ups and downs. But that’s great because I feel good, and feel as I have learnt everything on my own. Also, I feel I have a place in the world as well as in the industry.”
As we all know, Saif Ali Khan is the father of Sara, Ibrahim and Taimur. And as much as he enjoys the merits of his professional life, Saif admits that his personal life takes a toll. In an interview, the nawab said, “When I am doing a 9am to 9pm shift, I don’t even get to see Taimur because I leave the house before he wakes up, and by the time I get back, he is sleeping. And I don’t know if I want to do that a lot (smiles). I want to balance it and have some time for myself too. So, the idea is to carry on doing my work in the best manner but not overwork also.” That’s very wise, Dear Daddy!
While Saif is soaking in the love of his new-born baby, on the professional front, Saif Ali Khan will be next seen in Kaalakaandi and the Hindi remake of the Hollywood hit, Chef (2014).
