A bevy of stars including new mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan, superstar Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt graced the Zee Cine Awards night. The star-studded night witnessed some breathtaking performances which left everyone mesmerized. From Sunny Leone setting the stage on fire to Varun and Alia's power-packed performance, it was one hell of a night for our Bollywood celebs.
Not just that, it was raining tributes this season. While Sunny leone paid tribute to the yesteryear actresses by dancing to their popular numbers, Alia paid her tribute to her mentor Karan Johar, who gave her the dream debut in Bollywood with Student of the Year.
The gorgeous Sunny Leone kickstarted the night paying her tribute to Madhubala (Aayiye Meherbaan), Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan (Bahon Mein Chalein Aao), Helen (Yeh Mera Dil), Madhuri Dixit (Choli Ke Piche Kya hain) respectively. She ended her performance dancing on her latest dance number Laila Main Laila. With her sizzling performance, Sunny just set the right mood for the night.
The next to burn the dance floor was none other than Badri ki Dulhania Alia Bhatt who in her own way paid tribute to her mentor Karan Johar. Making a dramatic entry mouthing the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil title track, she jumped from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to Student of the Year to Badrinath Ki Duhlania dancing on all the popular numbers. when asked about her performance, she said, "Apart from my father, Karan Johar is like a father figure to her and Dharma is family. I hope Dharma ke saath mera Karma bhi accha ho."
