Kajol stuns at a launch event

Kajol is having a busy weekend. The actress was snapped at a launch event in the city today.

Dressed in a wrap-a-round trench coat style top, dull brown ankle length skirt with nude heels. She wore black smokey eyes with a pony tail. Kajol looked absolutely stunning as she arrived for the event. She smiled for the photogs before heading to the stage to address the crowd and the media.

On the work front, Kajol recently wrapped up the shoot of her Tamil comeback film VIP 2 with Dhanush. She had announced the wrap by posting a picture on her Instagram profile. The photo that also featured Dhanush and director Soundarya Rajnikanth was captioned, "And it's a wrap! Just finished my last schedule! Will miss you guys."

Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, popularly referred to as VIP 2 is a sequel to the 2014 film VIP. While the Dhanush, who was last seen in Shamitabh in Bollywood, will reprise his role as Raghuvaran, Kajol will be seen as the antagonist.

Recently, Kajol was grabbing all the headlines because of the sensational revelations made by her friend-turned-foe Karan Johar. In his book, An Unsuitable Boy, Karan revealed that their friendship is over and she can never come back in his life again. He wrote, "She was the one who mattered to me but now it's over. I wouldn't like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she's killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years."

In an interview earlier, KJo had said, "Ajay Devgn called me and shouted at me and said some really nasty things because he heard at a party that I had said some things about his wife. She was one of my closest relationships, as close as family could get, but it got unpleasant."

Things went sour between Kajol and Karan when the actress' husband Ajay Devgn's film Shivaay locked horns with Johar's movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil last year on Diwali.
