Netflix released the full length trailer for its original movie War Machine and we totally loved it. Let’s admit, one of the highest-point of the trailer is, of course, Brad Pitt and we couldn’t take our eyes off this hottie.  War Machine is based on the book “The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan” by the late Michael Hastings.

Although the film is a work of fiction but Brad Pitt’s character is based on General Stanley McChrystal, who was fired after Hastings published an expose about him in Rolling Stone. War Machine follows Pitt’s character, who is brought in to command NATO forces in Afghanistan.

From the producers of the Oscar-nominated The Big Short, the film is about the politics of war and to say the least, the trailer of the movie is engaging, enthralling and on-the-edge kind of drama and we can’t wait to watch the drama unfold on 26 May 2017. And we assure you that after watching the trailer; even you would want to watch the movie.

It is interesting that in the trailer, Pitt’s character tells the President of Afghanistan, played by Sir Ben Kingsley, “My team and I are about to embark on a new direction.” When asked about the direction, Pitt says, “We build Afghanistan into a free and prosperous nation.”

War Machine is written and directed by David Michod, who also has 2010’s Animal Kingdom to his credit. War Machine stars Tilda Swinton, Topher Grace and Anthony Michael Hall.
