Taapsee Pannu is geared up to kick ass in Naam Shabana which is a prequel to Neeraj Pandey's Baby which starred Akshay Kumar. This time, the story is based on how Shabana Khan came to join the task force. Naam Shabana is directed by Shivam Nair and also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

A screening of the movie was held last night and many celebrities were snapped by the paparazzi. All the spotlight was on the star Taapsee who looked pretty in a white dress and a yellow sheer crop top which had white flower embellishments on it. Her grey heels and short hair complimented the look. She also interacted with the media.

Anupam Kher was snapped by the paparazzi as he posed with Satish Kaushik. Taher Shabbir who plays Taapsee's love interest in the movie looked dapper in a white tee, white suit and acid wash jeans. He posed along with Elli AvrRam who kept it simple in a black dress with a plunging neckline and flats.

Also spotted at the screening were Saurabh Shukla, Saqib Saleem, Taapsee's Pink co-star Angad Bedi and the always beautiful Bhagyashree who were all smiles for the shutterbugs.

Naam Shabana is slated to release tomorrow.

A while back when we asked Taapsee, if she relates to her character Shabana, Taapsee replied, "A Big fat 0, I don’t relate to it at all. It was a huge challenge, not just physically but also mentally. I can’t identify with this role. So far, whatever role I did, I had an element of me in them, but this film has zero elements of me. I love to talk a lot, this woman doesn’t, she has extremely strong stubborn focus, I am not that stubborn with goals. She doesn’t shy away from hitting people if need be, I don’t do that, I can’t even stand violence in front of my eyes for a long time. I take everything at face value, while she can read between the lines. My sixth sense doesn’t exist."
