Shraddha Kapoor celebrates Gudi Padwa with her family and Asha Bhosle

Today, Shraddha Kapoor and family were spotted in the city at the opening of Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure Marg in Juhu. Wearing an Indian outfit, Shraddha looked simple yet chic and we totally loved her overdose of Indian-ness.

For all those who don’t know, Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure is the grandfather of the actress and father to Shraddha Kapoor’s mother, Shivangi Kapoor. Few years back, her grandfather had passed away and in his loving memory, the actress decided to name a marg after his grandfather. Aww, that’s sweet! At the event, Shraddha was spotted with Shakti Kapoor, Asha Bhosle, Padmini Kolhapure and Shivangi Kapoor.

During the day, the actress took to Instagram and posted her picture wishing everyone a Gudi Padwa. Here’s what she wrote, “Sarwanna Gudipadvachya hardik shubhecha.”

Currently, the actress is busy shooting for her next film, Haseena, which is a biopic directed by Apoorva Lakhia and she is working very hard to prep up for the role of Haseena. For the uninitiated, Haseena Parkar was the sister of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, who shot to power after the death of her husband, Ibrahim Parkar.

Recently, Shraddha has wrapped up the shooting of Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend, an upcoming Indian romantic comedy based on the 2014 best-selling novel by the same name by writer Chetan Bhagat. Half Girlfriend is a story about a boy who hails from a backward region of Bihar but wants an English-speaking upper class Delhi girl as his girl friend. The movie is slated to release on 19^th May, 2017.
