No surprises here! Because who else but Deepika Padukone felicitated with the HT Most Stylish Global Style Icon at the HT Most Stylish Awards. We often wonder how she manages to impress us every time she makes an appearance be it at an awards show, movie screening or say, at the airport. A bevy of Bollywood stars walsked the red carpet at the HT Most Stylish Awards, but Deepika deserves a special mention. Because, like always, she looked fashionable, chic and oh-so-sexy. During her acceptance speech at the HT Most Stylish Awards, Deepika quoted Yves Saint Laurent when she said, ‘Fashion fades but style is eternal’ and we totally endorse that thought, Miss. Padukone. The HT Most Stylish Awards were held in Mumbai and the event will witnessed the who’s who of Mumbai, dressed in their finest clothes. This year, the HT Most Stylish Awards will kick-start with a sizzling performance by Kailash Kher, followed by a fashion show. Currently, Deepika is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Indian period drama, Padmavati, which also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. After Sanjay Leela Bhansali was assaulted on the sets of Padmavati in Jaipur, the shooting of the film was stalled but the shooting will commence, soon.
