Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh are clicked while promoting Phillauri in Mumbai
Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh are on a roll. As the movie hits the screen tomorrow (24 March), Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh are leaving no stone unturned to promote the movie.
After promoting the movie in the capital, Anushka and Diljit were snapped in Mumbai, today. But amid the entire hustle bustle, our dear friendly ghost Shashi is also going all out to market the movie. Aww!
Today, during the promotions, we snapped Anushka wearing a Vizyon skirt and Fendi shoes and needless to say, she redefined the breezy-and-chic-look for us. But Diljit Dosanjh, like always, aced his casual look wearing a Gucci tee paired with white denims.
But before the aam-junta gets to watch the movie, B-town was treated with the movie’s screening and looking at their reviews, we can’t wait to watch the movie. Shah Rukh Khan wrote on his social media, “Phillauri the attempt at doing wot u believe in. @AnushkaSharma @diljitdosanjh keep believing in the impossible.”
After completing the promotional leg for Phillauri, Anushka Sharma will get busy with the shooting of Rajkumar Hirani’s movie based on the life of Sanjay Dutt. Anushka is reported to play the role of a scribe/biographer who chronicles Sanjay’s life in the film.
Anushka Sharma ventured into production with 2015 thriller NH10 and Phillauri is Sharma’s second production. In her upcoming Hindi romantic comedy movie, Phillauri by Anshai Lal, Anushka plays a non-living character i.e. a ghost bride and the movie also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma. Phillauri is the story of a young man who meets a friendly ghost after he reluctantly marries a tree to ward off any threats to his love life.
