From a small town girl to one of the highest paid actresses in the industry today, Kangana’s journey has been nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. Coming from a non-filmy background, sans any godfather, the actress has paved her way to the top purely on her own. As the Queen turns a year older, we will show you what her childhood looked like.

We managed to lay our hands upon some exclusive photos of the talented actress when she was just a little girl.

One of the pictures sees her receiving a prize for something, while the other sees her posing at a temple. The photo was taken at a school trip wherein Kangana carried her mother’s purse. She apparently howled and cried until her mother agreed to let her take the purse. Well, that clearly shows where all that persistence comes from!

One look at the pictures and you know that actress was blessed with good looks since childhood. Couple that with years of hard work and dedication, and you get Bollywood’s Queen.  

How is the actress celebrating her birthday? Well, if sources are to be believed, she will celebrate the day doing what she loves the most- acting. The actress will reportedly begin shooting for her upcoming venture Manikarnika, a biopic on Rani Lakshmibai. There possibly couldn’t be a better day to kick start a new project, isn’t it?
