Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan promote their movies Noor and Begum Jaan on Indian Idol 9. They interacted with the contestants and judges.
Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan were recently spotted on the sets of the music reality show Indian Idol 9 to promote their respective movies Noor and Begum Jaan.
Sonakshi looked pretty in black, white and pink sleeveless asymmetrical hem dress. She accessorised the look with pearl earrings and block heels. Her hair was tied in a high bun.
Sonakshi laughed it up with the judges of the show Farah Khan Kunder, Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik. They even posed together for the shutterbugs.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi is gearing up for her upcoming release Noor in which she plays a journalist. The movie also stars Purab Kohli, Kanan Gill and Shibani Dandekar and is slated to release on April 21, 2017. The movie is based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz's novel Karachi, You're Killing Me!
Sonakshi is currently shooting for Ittefaq which is the remake of the 1969 movie of the same name which starred Rajesh Khanna and Nanda. She will be starring opposite Sidharth Malhotra for the first time.
Vidya's traditional game was on point as she decked a red and golden saree. Her hair was tied in a side braid and she accessorised the look with golden jhumkas.
She was seen interacting with the judges as well as the contestants and even posed with them for the paparazzi.
Her movie Begum Jaan, which is directed by Srijit Mukherji and is the remake of the Bengali film Rajkahini. The movie also stars Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Chunky Pandey and Naseeruddin Shah.
The movie is slated to release on April 14, 2017.
