Kajol and Shraddha Kapoor attend the prayer meet of Aishwarya’s father

It is praiseworthy to see the entire film fraternity come together in bad times. Likewise, we witnessed the entire Bollywood under one roof at the prayer meet of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father, Krishnaraj Rai.

Not only veteran actors like Dimple Kapadia, Simi Garewal, and Neetu Kapoor, but it was the younger lot that was spotted at the prayer meet of Aishwarya’s father.

To pay the last respect to Krishnaraj Rai, Shraddha Kapoor and Kajol attended the prayer meet held in Mumbai. While Kajol came alone, Shraddha was accompanied by her father, Shakti Kapoor. 

Today, a prayer meet was held in Mumbai and it was a soothing site to see a bevy of Bollywood stars in attendance to pay their last respects to Krishnaraj Rai including Shah Rukh Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Twinkle Khanna, Sridevi, Jackky Bhagnani, Goldie Behl and many more.

After a brief battle with cancer, Krishnaraj Rai passed away at the Lilavati Hospital. Aishwarya’s father was suffering from lymphoma cancer, and owing to his critical condition, he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital two weeks ago. Thereafter, he was put on a ventilator at the Intensive Care Unit. Unfortunately, Krishnaraj Rai succumbed to the illness and passed away, after undergoing treatment for cancer.

Lt Gen V Ravishankar, who treated Rai at the facility, told news agency that Krishnaraj had lymphoma. He said, “Mr Rai passed away around 4 pm in Lilavati hospital ICU.”
