Anushka Sharma and Diljit promote Phillauri in the capital
Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh spotted at the promotions of Phillauri in New Delhi
Phillauri’s Shashi is a busy ‘friendly’ ghost. After traveling to the Oscars and featuring in movies such as Sholay, PK, and Life of Pi, among others, Shashi took a flight to Delhi. That’s true, alongside Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh, Shashi is in the capital to promote Phillauri.
Although we couldn’t capture the invisible Shashi, but we did manage to spot Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh, along with director Anshai Lal, promoting their latest outing in Delhi. While Anushka looks cute as a button wearing designer Rosie Assoulin and Outhouse Jewelry, Diljit, like always, is at his casual best.
As we all know, Anushka has taken over the social media by posting quirky and intriguing pictures of her movie. In a series of Instagram posts, Anushka shared a set of Bollywood posters and pictures by tweaking them and embedding Shashi in it.
After completing the promotional leg for Phillauri, Anushka Sharma will get busy with the shooting of Rajkumar Hirani’s movie based on the life of Sanjay Dutt. Anushka is reported to play the role of a scribe/biographer who chronicles Sanjay’s life in the film.
Anushka Sharma ventured into production with 2015 thriller NH10 and Phillauri is Sharma’s second production. In her upcoming Hindi romantic comedy movie, Phillauri by Anshai Lal, Anushka plays a non-living character i.e. a ghost bride and the movie also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma. Phillauri is the story of a young man who meets a friendly ghost after he reluctantly marries a tree to ward off any threats to his love life.
