Recently, Mahira Khan attended the Global Teacher Prize event in Dubai and Mahira Khan looked like a million bucks. Apart from her glamorous look, what floored us was Mahira’s adulation for her teachers. Talking at the event, the actress said, “We walk on red carpets; we get to support the causes close to our hearts. People like us, I talk about sportsmen, actors. We do all kinds of things and people around the world celebrate our success but the world’s teachers, the very people who shape the next generation aren’t thanked enough. You (teachers) are the true stars.”
For all her fans, Mahira Khan is self-admittedly, a shy girl and the actress credits her success to the teachers. The actress said, “Teachers have the power to make a shy little girl like me believe in her dreams, so yes, teachers do matter.” We agree, Mahira and if not for movies, we hope to see you more often at such events.
