Alia Bhatt attended the second day of the India Today Conclave in the city. Speaking at the event, the 24-year-old actress also opened up about her biggest fear.
Having given her fourth consecutive hit with Badrinath Ki Dulhania recently, Alia Bhatt is in a happy phase career wise. The lovely actress who started off as a student in 2012 has achieved a lot in just a little over four years of her journey in the industry. While the 24-year-old actress has already cemented her position in the showbiz, there is something Alia still fears.
Alia today graced the second day of India Today Conclave in Mumbai and opened up about her biggest fears. Revealing that her biggest fear is she would stop doing films someday she said, “My biggest fear is that someday I won't be making films anymore. This is the mother of all fears, of every entertainer who has walked this planet. This is the fear of all mortals and from where the narrative of immortality comes. Everything that is born will die. Everything that a man loves, he will have to part ways with. But it is this fear of losing that keeps us going. Fear is not a bad thing. It keeps you on your toes. Like you can't outrun your shadow, you can't outrun your fear.”
“My father has taught me that fear keeps you on your toes, it keeps you going. It’s ok, embrace it and use it to the best of your ability. I fear but I will give attention to my work, give my best and work with utmost dedication as I don’t want to lose it. I thank my father for telling me the hard truth. You are my reality and my reality check,” she added.
Alia who has always maintained a humble stand despite all the success that has come her way at such a young age also spoke about growing with her achievements and said, “I am growing, I don’t think I have achieved all. But I am grateful for the opportunities. I owe all this to my parents for instilling the belief in me that there is always someone who is better than you, so you have to walk the tight rope and do your best and keep going with the flow.”
