In pics: Aishwarya along with Abhishek post father’s last rites in Mumbai

Clicked here are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan after attending the last rites of father Krishnaraj Rai in Mumbai.

The couple is seen here heading back to the house from the crematorium. While Abhishek is snapped here sitting adjacent to the driver’s seat, a teary-eyed Aishwarya is spotted sitting in the back seat.

Both Abhishek and Aishwarya looked stressed as we spotted them driving away from the funeral site.

Also seen attending the last rites were some of their industry pals including Shah Rukh Khan, Simi Garewal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ashutosh Gowariker with wife Sunita, Kunal Kapoor, J P Dutta, Goldie Behl, Manish Malhotra, Puneet Malhotra, Sikander Kher, Bunty Walia and others

Mr. Rai after a prolonged illness passed away today at around 4 pm at Lilavati hospital. The last rites were performed by son Aditya Rai at Ville Parle Seva Sansthan Shamshan Bhoomi.

Aishwarya has recently been on her toes and had been managing her work commitments in a way that she could spend most of her time with her father in the hospital. A source had earlier today us, “Aishwarya is heartbroken. She has been managing her entire schedule and is making sure that she is present by her father's side throughout.”

Krishnaraj Rai had been in a suburban hospital for quite some time now and for over the past 10 days has been in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

He was undergoing a treatment for a cancer relapse and was reportedly diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer, which had spread to his brain.
