WWE star Paige becomes the latest victim of the celebrity hacking scandal
In a shocking incident, WWE star Paige's private photos and videos have found their way on the Internet.
After Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried, WWE star Paige has become the latest victim of the celebrity hacking scandal. Apparently, Paige’s private videos and pictures have been leaked on some of the social media platforms including that on Instagram and Twitter today, making it the biggest controversy of the year so far.
Reportedly, the sex tape and nude pics continue to be circulated and has taken the Internet by storm.
While Paige hasn’t yet responded to the controversy, her fans have come out generously in her defence.
One of them wrote, “whoever leaked #Paige nude photos deserves to spend the rest of his/her time inside a padded cell. Absolutely insane act of inhumanity.”
Another tweeted, “Reminder that sharing leaked pictures is a huge violation to someone's privacy and well-being #Paige.”
The current hacking fiasco appears to be a lot similar to the 2014 leaked pic controversy, wherein the hacker had targeted the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton.
An Apple representative had then said, “After more than 40 hours of investigation, we have discovered that certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions, a practice that has become all too common on the Internet. None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple’s systems including iCloud or Find my iPhone. We are continuing to work with law enforcement to help identify the criminals involved.”
And though not many details have been divulged about the scandal, Emma Watson’s publicist had earlier confirmed that the pics were stolen and then distributed on ‘dark web.’
