Ranbir Kapoor roots for father Rishi Kapoor at his biography launch in Mumbai

While Rishi Kapoor had already launched his biography titled Khullam Khulla- Rishi Kapoor Uncensored on January 17, the veteran actor re-launched the book in Mumbai today. Spotted here is son Ranbir Kapoor rooting for dad at the venue.

Pulling off a formal look, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star looked handsome in a chequered jacket teamed with black trousers and a white shirt.

Ranbir who was the star attraction at the event is seen here obliging his fans by posing along with them.

Though the 34-year-old actor wasn’t present at the initial launch, Ranbir made up by being there today.

Speaking about his relationship with Ranbir, Rishi had earlier said, “I never argued with my father and it so happened that unfortunately the same kind of relationship passed on with me and Ranbir. I really want that there should be love and respect between us. But I am not the type of guy, who will ask him (Ranbir) to share secrets of his girlfriends and all that. I am sorry. It's my failure. I want there to be a wall between me and him where I can see him, but can't feel him.”

“Ranbir feels that when he is going to have kids, he is not going to be like me. It's a generation gap. I cannot be a friend to a son. You must accept me the way I am,” he added.

Talking about Ranbir’s upcoming project, he will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt’s untitled biopic.

The actor also has another interesting project up his sleeve, he is prepping up for Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon alongside Alia Bhatt.
