Phillauri’s Shashi is everywhere, she is now playing with the sher of Life of Pi
#SHASHIWASTHERE: Shashi aka Anushka Sharma was a part of Life of Pi
Anushka Sharma is on a mission. Phillauri Mission. By now, we all know that Anushka’s latest outing, Phillauri, is keeping the actress super busy and well, her marketing team, too. One after the other, Anushka Sharma has been posting interesting ‘tweaked’ posters of old Bollywood movies featuring Shashi, the friendly ghost in Phillauri.
In the latest, Anushka has played and tweaked the poster of Ang Lee’s Life of Pi. But this one is special as Anushka has braved to place our dear Shashi next to the famous Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. That’s right! While the protagonist, Piscine Molitor “Pi” is stranded on a lifeboat with a tiger, but unlike the tiger, Shashi is not here to scare Pi but to, perhaps, help him and give him company. So, Shashi decided to help him and go onboard. Aww, we go!
Anushka took to her Instagram and posted the picture which read, “Pehle Sher Ke Saath Fasa Phir Ek Bhoot Ke Saath. Thank God main Khunkhar nahin, friendly hoon. #ShashiWasThere #SurajSharma.”
The #SHASHIWASTHERE has been driving us crazy and with this pre-release hype, we can’t wait to watch Shashi and her antics in Phillauri.
Anushka Sharma ventured into production with 2015 thriller NH10 and Phillauri is Sharma’s second production. In her upcoming Hindi romantic comedy movie, Phillauri, Anushka plays a non-living character i.e. a ghost bride and the movie also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma. The movie is directed by Anshai Lal.
