Soon, the nation will get its answer to the most important question ‘Why Kattappa killed Baahubali’. That’s right! The trailer of one of the most awaited movies of the year, Baahubali: The Conclusion, was launched today in Mumbai.

Due to the popularity of Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), a lot of hopes and expectations rides on the movies sequel and we are hoping for some jaw-droppingly crazy action and drama. Speaking at the film’s trailer launch event, director SS Rajamouli was quoted by a leading daily, “Baahubali is going to be a franchise. But Baahubali, the film will only be part one and two. Don’t want to kill a golden goose just because I want to make money. Just because we have a market, I don’t want to see the film’s soul.”

Amid all the excitement and applause, SS Rajamouli said, “The film is a continuation of the first film. I have just ‘upped’ the effects and action sequences, the story is not re-touched.”

But before the trailer launch came to an end, one of the most historic questions was addressed to the director. Well, no points for guessing it was the infamous ‘Why Kattappa killed Baahubali’, and the social media trolls that followed after the movie, to which he said, “I believe that the trolling my film receives is directly proportionate to the love my film has released. I am very sure that the film will make a grand first day, first show opening.”

Baahubali: The Conclusion will release on April 28, 2017 and the film stars Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah.
