Phillauri Diaries: Anushka, Suraj and Mehreen spotted at a promotional event
Anushka Sharma spotted with her co-stars Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada at a promotional event of Phillauri.
Phillauri, way before its release, has grabbed headlines, all credit to an unusual concept which has never been shown onscreen in a humorous way. Ever since, the trailer has hit the web, fans are waiting for the film to release.
In the film, Anushka Sharma is playing a friendly ghost, Shashi and yes, she is everywhere. Now, she has been spotted with her co-stars Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada at a promotional event.
Anushka was seen in her casual outfit. She chose to wear black and yellow t-shirt and yellow bottoms. She teamed it up with white sneakers. Mehreen was seen in a black midi dress which had a lacy neck line. Suraj opted for a black t-shirt, jacket and denims.
The trio was all smiles for the shutterbugs at the event. The trailer of Anushka Sharma’s second production Phillauri had already created substantial curiosity among fans and even received the thumbs up from Bollywood stars.
Set in Punjab, Phillauri is about an NRI Punjabi boy named Kanan (played by Suraj Sharma) who returns to India to get married to his childhood sweetheart. And as he is manglik, he is forced to marry a tree. Well, with tree, he also inadvertently marries Shashi, who by know we all know is everywhere!
In an interview with us, Suraj talked about his experiences of working with Anushka. He said, "She is so good. I think she is a very good producer as she is a very strong-willed person and extremely hardworking. But for me, she was an actor and a tremendous one. Working with Anushka, you won't feel that you were working with a big name and have no burden working alongside them. She is completely relaxed and supremely chilled out person but also very hard working. When she is on set, you know you will do your well. Anushka comes across like a very fun person, but I was really scared of her."
