In Pics: Birthday boy Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao go desi for a promotional event

Aamir Khan who turned 52 today was snapped showing off his 'desi' swag with wife Kiran Rao at a promotional event in the city today. The duo were on the sets of a marathi serial to promote Paani Foundation, an NGO run by them.

Dressed in a plain white T-shirt and brown jeans, Aamir looked dapper. What really accentuated his looks was the addition of the traditional turban (Pheta) and his pointed moustache. With such impeccable styling, the Birthday Boy always proves that age is just a number for him!

Donning a traditional saree and a pair of earrings, Kiran complimented Aamir. She completely her look with a bindi and the duo surely look oh-so-adorable in the pictures.

In one of the pictures, Aamir is even seen pointing his handlebar moustache, and we really can't get over it. Killer, isn't it?

Earlier today, Aamir held his annual press conference wherein he was asked to comment on the issue of nepotism. Responding to which the 52-year-old actor said, "What is nepotism? It is a natural human emotion to try and help people you love and care about. It does not necessarily have to a member of your family."

He further added that he has always been careful about expressing his views.

Aamir who last year gave stellar performance as Mahavir Phogat in Dangal will next be seen in The Thugs of Hindostan, which also stars superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is expected to release later this year.
