Aishwarya and Abhishek visit dad Krishnaraj Rai at Lilavati Hospital

As father Krishnaraj Rai’s condition continues to be critical, spotted here is a visibly worried Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with husband Abhishek Bachchan heading out of the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Mr. Rai was moved to the Intensive Care Unit of the suburban hospital on Tuesday and has been on a ventilator for some time now.

While the 43-year-old actress was seen in a light coloured ethnic outfit, Abhishek also kept it simple as they got clicked making way towards their car.

Also snapped was the duo’s close friend Sikander Kher and other buds who had dropped by to pay a visit to the ailing man.

Confirming about Mr. Rai’s serious condition a source had informed us, “Yes, Aishwarya's dad is in a critical condition and is on the ventilator now. Close family members from all over have rushed to Mumbai to be with the family in these difficult times. We are praying for the best."

Apparently, he has been treated for Cancer in the past and his present condition is said to be owing to its recurrence.

Earlier too, in January Aishwarya and Abhishek had to cut short their Dubai vacation and had to rush back home due to the medical emergency.

A source had then told us, “Yes, he has been in the hospital for nearly two weeks. Aishwarya is taking care of him despite her being alone as Abhishek was in New York for work. He just got back. Recently at Aaradhya's sports day, Aishwarya was seen cheering for the kids and her own daughter too. But simultaneously she was also keeping a tab on her dad's health."
