Vidya Balan and the team of Begum Jaan visited The Kapil Sharma Show yesterday. She was accompanied by cast of the film including Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda among others.
Vidya looked gorgeous in a black saree with big earrings and a nose ring. Whereas Gauahar also wore a black sheer saree with sharp straight hair. The all girl team were at their best on the show.
Their banter with the host Kapil Sharma and Ali Asgar were a treat to the audience present there. It was a houseful show with girls pulling Kapil's leg and other activities they did together.
About Begum Jaan, the movie is directed by National Award winning filmmaker Srijit Mukherji and produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Vishesh Bhatt and Play Entertainment.
Yesterday, the poster of the film was unveiled and Vidya looked fierce as a madam of the brothel. The movie is slated to release on April 14, 2017. It is set against the backdrop of late Indian Independence period of 1947. The tagline of the movie says, "My Body, My House, My Country, My Rules". It also says, "When Freedom fought Independence."
The cast of the film includes Naseeruddin Shah, Rajit Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vivek Mushran, Chunky Pandey, Poonam Singh Rajput, Ridheema Tiwari, Flora Saini, Priyanka Setia, Mishti Chakraborty, Sumit Nijhawan, Pitobash and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles.
Vidya is known for her hard-hitting characters in movies and her look from Begum Jaan has impressed people. They took to social media to applaud her for her look.
