It was early on the morning of June 23, 1980 when the news came in light that Sanjay Gandhi is no more and he was just 34 back then. His death became the most controversial topics and still is. Hearing the death news, Indira Gandhi rushed to the scene and just took the watch from his body. 

Well, there were reports that Indira was behind the whole conspiracy. Now, Madhur Bhandarkar has forayed into a territory which is unexplored and indeed has layers of diplomacy and controversy. Cables released by wiki-leaks stated that there were three assassination attempts carried out on him. It's indeed an untold story and has to be in front of modern generation through a 70 mm screen. 

Neil Nitin Mukesh has stepped into the shoes of Sanjay Gandhi in Indu Sarkar and the picture has come out on the social media. In the still, he looks just like Sanjay Gandhi and fans on Twitter are looking forward to see the film. One of the users wrote, "After this image being leaked out we are sure there is some powerhouse performances to look forward to #NeilNitinAsSanjayGandhi."

Indu Sarkar is based on the Emergency, a 21-month long period from 1975 to 1977 when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi unilaterally had a state of emergency declared across the country. Indu Sarkar stars Kirti Kulhari, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Neil Nitin Mukesh in a pivotal role.
