Spotted here are the wedding shenangians Shahid Kapoor and wifey Mira at ex-bigg boss contestant Mandana Karimi and Gaurav Gupta's marriage.

Donning a light coloured kurta-pyjama Shahid looked dapper as he posed for the paps. Mira, on the other hand, appeared to be gorgeous in a yellow ethnic number.

The lovely duo was clicked hand-in-hand as they happily posed for the shutterbugs.

After a court marriage in January, the long-time sweethearts Mandana and Gauravhave formally tied the knot on Saturday.

Informing about the hush-hush ceremony, Mandana had tweeted, “Had a surreal court marriage today in the presence of family. Waiting to celebrate it with our friends for it to turn real-Mandana ‘gupta’.”

Meanwhile, talking about Shahid’s big screen projects- the actor will be next seen in Padmavati. Pulling off the role of Padmapati aka Rana Ratan Singh, the 36-year-old actor will be seen sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

While Deepika will play the pivotal role of Queen Padmini, Ranveer will be flaunting his villainy side as Allaudin Khilji.

The period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been controversial from its very onset. After reports of an extravagant budget and Ranveer’s apparent insecurity with Shahid’s role, the flick has been in the news of late for violent attacks by Karni Sena over an alleged wrongful portrayal of Rani Padmini.

Alleging that the filmmaker is distorting history, the fringe Rajput group has even warned of future attacks if the director will shoot for any romantic scenes between Padmavati (Deepika) and Allaudin Khilji (Ranveer).
