Akshay Kumar has recently wrapped up the shoot of Shree Narayan Singh’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and was today spotted in the capital city to learn more about sanitation and toilet technology.

As interesting as it sounds, the 49-year-old actor also met up with Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, the brain behind Sulabh International to get some hands on knowledge about sanitation.

Donning a white suit teamed with a kala chashma swag, Akshay looked dapper and keen to learn some fascinating facts about toilet technology.

The Jolly LLB 2 star also greeted widows from Vrindavan and met with former scavengers to know more about their experiences.

The actor was also seen cooking on biogas and promoted the use of renewable energy for cooking purposes.

As Akshay created much fan frenzy with his visit, the actor with folded hands was seen addressing his supporters who had gathered around to get his glimpse.

How sweet is that!

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha that has PM’s Swacch Bharat Campaign at the heart of it, also has Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher and Sana Khan in the lead.

Apparently, the flick will highlight the significance of pay-and-use toilet scheme and will lay bare the perils of open defecation.

Co-produced by Friday Filmworks, Grazing Goat Pictures and Kriarj Entertainment, the movie will hit the silver screen on June 2.

Akshay is also working on another interesting project, Padman, right now. Based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham (the man who manufactures low-cost sanitary pads), the film also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor.
