Deepika Padukone has graced the March issue of Femina Homes with this awe-inspiring cover photo.
Having taken the global markets by storm, the xXx star Deepika Padukone is currently working on some interesting projects back home. The beautiful actress has recently featured on the cover of Femina Home’s March issue and we certainly are star struck.
Donning a pretty green outfit, teamed with an elegant pair of heels, the 31-year-old actress looks gorgeous as she poses with a vase in her hand.
Complimenting her look with a neat ponytail and an infectious smile, the Bajirao Mastani star appears to be dreamy with few home décor products in the background.
Talking about her big screen projects, Deepika will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. The actress will be seen pulling off the role of Queen Padmini in the epic drama that also stars Shahid Kapoor and alleged beau Ranveer Singh.
While the Rangoon star will be portraying the role of Padmapati- Rana Ratan Singh, the Befikre actor Ranveer Singh will be flaunting his villainy side as Alauddin Khilji in the flick.
The film from its very inception has been in headlines for the wrong reasons. While earlier there were reports of an apparent rift between Ranveer and SLB over Shahid’s character, Padmavati was recently in news for the attacks on the film’s sets by Karni Sena.
The fringe Rajput group has been upset with the portrayal of Queen Padmini in the movie and even issued warnings of vandalism in future if the team decides to shoot any romantic sequence between Padmavati aka Deepika and Alauddin Khilji aka Ranveer.
Meanwhile, Deepika is all set to resume the shoot by the end of March and will reportedly be filming some action-packed sequences.
