Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Phillauri's trailer is out and their fans can't get over the rib-tickling humor and crackling chemistry between the duo. As the release date is nearing, Anushka-Diljit has been snapped promoting their films together at various events.
The latest we spotted the duo, they were busy promoting Phillauri at a film studio in the city, today. Both Anushka and Diljit were all smiles for the shutterbugs. How to keep it simple yet classy? Follow Anushka. Wearing a royal blue colored knee length dress, Anushka looked smart. In a black sweatshirt and denim, Diljit was easy-going.
Taking a humorous take on the Oscars goof-up, Anushka tweeted a photoshopped photo of Sashi at the event. In the photo, we see Sashi trying to tell the host that it is the wrong envelope but they couldn't hear her as she is a ghost. Well, we have to agree that she has a good sense of humor!
Apart from the trailer, the songs of the movie have already found a place in the playlists of music lovers. With Ranjana and Sahiba filling the romantic and sufi space, Whatsup with its peppy lyrics is refreshing. The playlist is a mix of all- from lively to heartfelt number.
Phillauri is a story of a young man who is married off a tree to ward off any troubles in his life and that's when he meets the spirit of Sashi (Anushka Sharma). With moments of subtle humor, the film is all set to take on the various myths predominant in our society.
The movie also marks the debut of Suraj Sharma, who took the world by storm with his stint in Life of Pi. The movie will hit the theaters on March 24, 2017.
