Ram Gopal Varma is back with Sarkar 3 and it stars Amitabh Bachchan as Subhash Nagre and going by the trailer, he is angrier than the last time you saw him. Apart from Amitabh, the film also stars Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam, Manoj Bajpayee, Jackie Shroff and Ronit Roy in the lead roles.
Today, at the trailer launch, Amitabh, RGV, Amit, Yami and Jackie posed for the shutterbugs. There were moments when Jackie and Amitabh indulged in some light humour. The movie was in news for a while now. CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani, in an interview, had said that, " "Filmmakers will not be allowed to sit on the fence. Either your work is based on true characters. Or it is a work of fiction. If you claim your film is based on facts then get us an NOC from the people concerned."
Clarying his stance, RGV, today, said,"They (CBFC) have some kind of a regulation, I believe. If they have a reason to believe that this could be based on a real life character, just a safety measure to get a disclaimer, nothing beyond that."
The director also added, "I don't think Sarkar 3 has any material which should anger Pahlaj Nihalani."
