Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt visited the sets of Indian Idol 5 to promote their upcoming film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming next, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, is taking them to places. The duo is currently busy promoting the romantic comedy and is going all out for the same. With reality shows on the small screen becoming a trendy and easy way for movie promotions Badri Varun and Vaidehi Alia were seen creating a buzz for the flick on Indian Idol 5.
After promoting the film on The Voice earlier during the day, Varun and Alia headed to shoot for another singing reality show. The BKD pair is spotted here on the sets of Indian Idol along with judges- Farah Khan, Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik.
Donning yellow flared pants teamed with a full-sleeved top, the 23-year-old looked pretty as she sportingly posed for the cameras.
The Dishoom star, on the other hand, was clicked in a white shirt and trousers paired with a white jacket.
Interestingly, BKD is Alia-Varun’s third film together after Student of the Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
While the Dear Zindagi star will portray the role of a Kota girl in the flick, Varun will bring to life the character of a boy from Jhansi.
Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, the movie will hit the silver screen on the Holi weekend on March 10.
Co-produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta, the film is a second installment of the franchise that began with HSKD (2014).
Apart from BKD promotions, the lead stars are also occupied with their upcoming projects. While Alia is working on Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon, Varun is prepping for his role in father David Dhawan’s Judwaa 2.
