Deepika Padukone today attended the pre-Oscar cocktail party in LA. The 31-year-old was seen rocking a black number at the event.
While there has been a buzz about Deepika Padukone not attending the prestigious Academy Awards this year, the xXx star was present at the pre-awards cocktail party in LA.
Donning a black Roland Mouret dress and Roger Vivier shoes, the 31-year-old actress looked stunning as she geared to attend her first pre-Oscars bash.
The Bajirao Mastani star earlier talking about gracing the awards night had denied the reports and on being asked if she would be attending Oscars 2017 told a leading daily, “That's an interesting question...(laughs) but no, no."
However, her presence at the pre-party has again sparked rumours of her walking the red carpet in her full glory.
Reports of the actress attending Oscars flooded the Internet when her Hollywood stylist Elizabeth Saltzman took to Instagram and wrote, “LA here we come. Can't wait to see this beauty !!! @deepikapadukone.” Saltzman shared another post and captioned it as, "@gracerichmond9 is here too. Oscars here we come".
Though it now seems like Deepika can overwhelm us with her presence at the awards show, but what’s with all the suspense?!
Meanwhile, the actress’ Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage has broken all the box office records and has earned Rs. 2062.25 crores. The action flick has minted a total of Rs. 20162.52 from around the world and has become the highest grossing film so far in the year 2017.
Interestingly, the Vin-Deepika starrer has also earned Rs. 1632 crores at the Chinese box office in just 10 days leaving behind Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga.
