The team of Naam Shabana have started the promotions of their film. The trailer was released recently and it received a thumbs up from the audience and Bollywood celebrities.
Starring Taapsee Pannu in a titular role, it is the first movie made on a spin-off to another film which is Akshay Kumar's Baby. Naam Shabana also stars Akshay in an extended cameo and he impressed everyone with his short stint in the trailer.
Today, the whole team of the film was in the capital to promote the film. They visited a popular hospital and interacted with the people present there.
Along with Akshay and Taapsee, the producer Neeraj Pandey, director Shivam Nair and South superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays the main antagonist in the film was also spotted at the event.
Akshay made the event much more interesting by explaining about Baby and Naam Shabana and the common connection between them.
The patriotic thriller is slated to release on March 31, 2017, and also stars Manoj Bajpayee and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles.
Coming to Taapsee, the talented actor is having a busy 2017 just like Akshay. Her two films Running Shaadi and The Ghazi Attack were released recently. She will soon start shooting for Judwaa 2 opposite Varun Dhawan post the release of Naam Shabana.
Akshay Kumar's latest film Jolly LLB 2 is having a successful run at the box-office. Today, the superstar wrapped the shoot of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. He is all set to play a negative role in Rajinikanth's much-awaited sci-fi flick 2.0.
