Akshay Kumar wraps up Toilet: Ek Prem Katha; announces its release date!
Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar wrap the shoot of their upcoming film Toilet Ek Prem Katha; share a new still from the movie on Twitter and Instagram.The movie is slated to release on June 2, 2017.
Akshay Kumar is having a busy 2017. His recently released film Jolly LLB 2 won hearts nationwide and did wonders at the box-office.
Now, he will be seen in an extended cameo in the upcoming film Naam Shabana, where Taapsee Pannu will be seen in the titular role. Moreover, the talented actor will be seen in a satirical social film Toilet - Ek Prem Katha opposite Bhumi Pednekar.
Today, the team wrapped the shoot of the film and Akshay shared a still from the movie. In the picture, Akshay and Bhumi are seen as a newly married couple dressed in their wedding attires.
Akshay captioned the picture on Twitter saying, "With the wrap of @ToiletTheFilm treating you guys to a still from the film...Keshav and Jaya's unique love story coming to you on June 2 :)"

Toilet - Ek Prem Katha is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by KriArj Entertainment and is set to hit the screens on June 2, 2017. The movie is based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative. It also stars Manoj Bajpayee in a pivotal role.
Other than this flick, Akshay will be seen in 2.0, where he will don the negative role alongside Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson. He will also be seen in a biopic PadMan directed by R. Balki opposite Sonam Kapoor. The movie is based on the life and times of Arunachalam Muruganantham who made low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural India.
Next year, Akshay will be seen in one more biopic titled Gold. The movie is set against the backdrop of 1948 Olympics and will be directed by Reema Kagti. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, the film is slated to release on August 15, 2018.
