BMC Elections 2017: Shraddha Kapoor, Anushka Sharma cast their votes!
Anushka Sharma and Shraddha Kapoor cast their votes during the BMC Elections 2017 today in Mumbai.
As Mumbai gears up to vote today in the BMC Elections, many Bollywood actors turned out to exercise their right. After Ranveer Singh, Rekha, Zoya Akhtar, Gulzar and Kiran Rao, celebrities like Shraddha Kapoor and Anushka Sharma have cast their votes.
Shraddha Kapoor along with her mother Shivangi reached the polling booth in Juhu a while back and were clicked by the paparazzi. Dressed in blue jeans, a white top and a light blue cape, Shraddha waved to the photogs before going in and voting. She also posed with her mother and later was seen flaunting the blue mark on her index finger, indicating that she voted.
She also tweeted about the same and posted, "Done voting. Please exercise your right & go vote!"
Anushka Sharma too cast her vote early in the morning and shared her selfie flaunting the blue mark. She posted, "Started my morning by casting my vote.Voting is our collective duty towards our country & its progress.Pls go out & vote #VoteKarMaharashtra."
On the work front, Anushka is gearing up for the release of her second production venture Phillauri which also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma in the lead. She will later be seen in Imtiaz Ali's tentatively titled The Ring opposite Shah Rukh Khan, followed by Rajkumar Hirani's Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor. In the movie, Anushka plays the role of a journalist.
Shraddha, on the other hand, will be next seen in Half Girlfriend along with Arjun Kapoor, followed by Haseena biopic which also stars her brother Siddhanth Kapoor.
