Swara Bhaskar looks patakha in the new poster of Anaarkali Of Aarah!
After Nil Battey Sannata, Swara Bhaskar is all set to return to the big screen with a completely different avatar in Anaarkali Of Aarah. The film is a story of an erotic singer played by Swara and she is from Arrah in Bihar. She was a successful name until she meets a powerful man and things go ugly in her life.
Karan Johar has just shared the new poster of the film and wrote, "Well done @ReallySwara for constantly breaking ground!! 24th march is the date guys ! For this new world and engaging film!!!"
In the poster, you see an all-together different side of Swara and she looks like a patakha in the poster. In an earlier interview with a leading daily, the actor shared about the film. She said, "Anaarkali of Aarah is a very special film for me. Not just because its a relevant and topical film on an important issue but because I have never been as closely associated with the pre-production and making of any film as I have been with Anarkali. Even when Avinash ji had simply narrated the idea to me I was sold."
Swara also added, "I have read every single draft he has written and I feel like I grew into the script with the script. I've never worked so hard on any film as I have on Anarkali, I injured myself, fell sick, had a breakdown everything while filming and yet strangely I never lost faith in this project. I think we have made a very courageous film that deserves to be widely seen."
Swara's bestie Sonam Kapoor had earlier unveiled the teaser of the film. She also wrote, "So, I've seen this movie (obviously I get to see it first) and I've howled and cried at how magnificent Swara is in it. To see female empowerment at its most entertaining and heart-wrenching see the teaser."
