Sanjay Dutt has finally started shooting for his comeback film, Bhoomi in Agra. The film revolves around the relationship between a father and a daughter. Aditi Rao Hydari has been roped in to play Sanjay's daughter.
Today, Sanjay was spotted on the sets of Bhoomi in Agra. He posed for shutterbugs like a boss and looked dapper in his ripped denims and grey v-neck t-shirt. He even waved to the cameras.
In an interview with a leading agency, Sanjay had said "I have been looking for scripts that went beyond my screen persona. I wanted to do something vulnerable yet powerful. Bhoomi is an emotional and sensitive drama that explores the relationship between a father and daughter."
Talking about the film, Omung Kumar had said, “This one will keep the audience taut and on the edge of their seats. Bhoomi is an emotional, revenge drama that centres around the relationship between a father and daughter.”
The film is scheduled to release on August 4, this year. Not just Bhoomi, Dutt has been making headlines for his upcoming biopic. Ranbir Kapoor will be essaying the role of Dutt in much-talked about film by Rajkumar Hirani. Paresh Rawal has been roped in to play his late father, actor and politician Sunil Dutt. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal and Dia Mirza in the lead roles.
Interestingly, the biopic also has the scene of Dutt from the jail. The biopic will show everything from his relationships to biggest controversy during the 1993 blasts to his kids.
