Lara Dutta shares a throwback picture posing with Sushmita Sen. Both the beauty queens made India proud by winning Miss Universe title.
Sushmita Sen made India proud by becoming the first Indian to be crowned as Miss Universe in 1994. Six years later, Lara Dutta was crowned Miss Universe in the year 2000. Till now, only two Indians have won the title.
Both Sushmita and Lara shared screen space in David Dhawan's Do Knot Disturb opposite Govinda. Though the movie did not work well at the box-office, both the beauty queens were appreciated for their amazing comic timing.
Today, Lara shared a throwback picture enjoying a candid moment with Sush at a press conference. She captioned the picture on Twitter saying, "Just a candid shot from years ago but I love this picture! Not many countries can boast of this, what say @thesushmitasen?! . #Throwback"
