Here is the 1st official India poster of Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman's Lion!
Dev Patel is on the move in the first official India poster of Lion. The movie has been creating major buzz, this award season with four Golden Globes nominations (Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Actor - Dev Patel, Best Supporting Actor - Nicole Kidman and Best Original Score - Dustin O'Halloran and Hauschka).
Based on the non-fiction book A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley with Larry Buttrose, the story chronicles the life of a five-year-old boy who is in search of food with his brother and lands up losing his way from home travelling all the way to Kolkata. Sheltered in an orphanage he gets adopted by an Australian couple and in adulthood through means of Google Earth goes on a journey to find his parents in India.
Alongside Dev and Nicole, Lion also stars Sunny Pawar, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Priyanka Bose, Deepti Naval and a cameo by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Directed by Garth Davis, Lion is slated to release on February 24, 2017.
