The first poster of Madhur Bhandarkar's Indu Sarkar is out and it speaks of unrest in the country!
Madhur Bhandarkar's Indu Sarkar is based on the Emergency, a 21-month long period from 1975 to 1977, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi unilaterally had a state of emergency declared across the nation. The first poster of the film is out and it speaks of unrest in the country.
Bhandarkar took to Twitter to share the poster and announced, "Here is the 1st teaser poster of #InduSarkar. Shooting begins today. Always need your support & blessings."
In the teaser poster, you see a woman having cuffs in hand and asking for justice and the tagline is 'Against the system... For the nation'. If you notice it carefully, you'll see common mass fighting in the background.
The film has been in the news for its controversial subject and its mercurial director's track record. Indu Sarkar stars Kirti Kulhari in the lead role and also features Neil Nitin Mukesh in a pivotal role. The film will hit the screens in 2017.
