Oh My! A jubilant Katrina Kaif stuns at Smita Patil Memorial Award

Actress Katrina Kaif was recently conferred with the prestigious Smita Patil Memorial Award by the Priyadarshni Academy Global Award for being an outstanding individual who has shown excellence for her work in films. She joined the ranks of actresses like Sridevi, Vidya Balan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. However, for the Twitterati, this was an insult to the memory and acting prowess of the late actress Smitaji, as the social media exploded with jokes and started trolling the actress.

At the awards ceremony today, a jubilant Katrina stunned the onlookers as she descended in a bottle green, heavily embellished anarkali by Sabyasachi. The actress looked gorgeous with loose tresses, soft pink lips and diamonds earrings.

Also spotted at the event was the ever-so-lovely Juhi Chawla who looked beautiful in an orange sharara, and veteran actress Poonam Dhillon.
