Memories refreshed! Former Miss Universe Sushmita looks dreamy in this throwback issue of Femina!
It was indeed a very proud moment when Susmita Sen became the first Indian woman to have won the coveted Miss Universe crown in 1994. The Main Hoon Na actress was only 19 years-old when she took the international beauty peasants by storm.
While we have a long way from that time, Sushmita remains to be an icon especially with that bang on combination of the beauty with the brains.
Refreshing our memories, Femina recently posted a throwback picture of Sushmita donning the beautiful crown in their July 1994 cover.

Notably, after Sushmita, Lara Dutta is the only Indian woman to have won the prestigious title in 2000.
