PM Narendra Modi Attends Babul Supriyo's Wedding
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was spotted earlier today as he attended singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo’s wedding. Shortly after arriving, he wished the union minister and his parents on the special occasion. As expected, this was quite a star-studded event as several other politicians—right from Shashi Tharoor to Rajnath Singh—were in attendance.
For the uninitiated, Babul has tied the knot with Rachana Sharma who is a Delhi-based air hostess. The two met on a flight and became friends almost immediately. They were engaged a couple of months back. However, that was a low key affair. Recalling their first meeting, he revealed earlier this year that it was a lovely experience.
“For the last two years, my fate seems to have been circling in the air. Strange things are happening 30-35,000 ft above the sea level. Seems like someone is sitting up there and writing the script of my life,” he stated.
Interestingly, some time back, Babul revealed that he was impressed by Rachana’s simplicity.
“Complete simplicity. In my complex life, this is the only X-factor,” he said.
