It was exactly three years ago that Shah Rukh Khan’s fans got a big reason to celebrate when his much-hyped Chennai Express opened to an excellent response at the box office while receiving decent reviews. Touted as an action-comedy, the Rohit Shetty directorial grabbed plenty of attention thanks to its compelling plot which revolved around how love blossoms between people from two different cultures.
Moreover, its biggest highlight proved to be the crackling chemistry between SRK and the absolutely stunning Deepika Padukone. The two made quite a lovable pairing indeed. SRK’s onscreen arrogance and pride gelled quite well with DP’s bubbly avatar.
