Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was spotted yesterday as he visited the Virginia-based Satchidananda ashram on its 30th anniversary. He was accompanied by his daughter and noted director Aishwaryaa Dhanush. In this pic, the father-daughter duo can be seen seeking blessings.

For the uninitiated, ‘thalaiva’ has been in the US for nearly a month now. He is expected to return to India pretty soon. As it so happens, the superstar is yet to watch the final copy of his upcoming film Kabali. In fact, some time back, it was reported that he might not be able to attend its premiere screening.

Interestingly, Kabali is touted to be a mob drama and features the 65-year-old legend in the role of an ageing don. Directed by Pa Ranjith, it will hit screens this week and has already created a buzz amongst fans as it marks is his first release in over a year. Rajinikanth was last seen in the 2014 release Lingaa which did not live up to expectations.
